Quite a lot has happened in the world of entertainment so far in 2019: Jennifer Lopez got engaged, Kim Kardashian wants to become a lawyer, Adele is getting a divorce, Kanye West is now a good friend of Jesus, and Lori Loughlin is trapped in a college admission scam. It was on the 12th of March that the actress and her husband (Mossimo Giannulli) got arrested for their involvement in a nationwide college admissions bribery scandal. Following the arrest, it emerged that the U.S Attorney’s Office and the FBI charged Lori and Mossimo with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest service mail fraud. As alleged, the couple paid $500,000 which was disguised as a donation to a foundation in order to get their daughters admitted to the University of Southern California. Since then, many questions have been asked about Lori Loughlin’s daughters, the following entails the things you should know about them.
Who Are Lori Loughlin’s Daughters?
Lori met Mossimo in 1995 and on Thanksgiving Day of 1997, she eloped with him. The marriage saw to the birth of Lori Loughlin’s daughters: Isabella Rose Giannulli and her sister Olivia Jade Giannulli. Isabella, called Bella by family and friends, is the older of the two sisters. She was born on the 16th of September 1998 whereas her sister was welcomed the next year, on the 28th of September 1999.
While Isabella is Lori’s first daughter, Olivia is the popular one. Unlike her sister who has always stayed off the limelight, Olivia has embraced it as an internet celebrity. She has nurtured a social media career on Instagram and YouTube over the years. As of this writing, Olivia has over 1.4 million followers on Instagram and 1.93 million subscribers on YouTube.
Considering who their parents are, there is no doubt that the sisters had a very comfortable upbringing. It is believed that Isabella, like her sister Olivia, was a student of Marymount High School, an all-girls college-preparatory institution in Los Angeles, California, before moving on to the University of Southern California.
How Has The Scandal Affected Lori’s Daughters?
It is a difficult time for the Giannulli family at the moment. While the parents are striving to fight off being jailed, their daughters, especially Olivia, are being ridiculed. It has been a lot easier for Bella to cope with the public shame as she had mastered evading public scrutiny, even though she has been getting a lot more attention since the scandal surfaced. This is not the case for the outgoing Olivia; in addition to not being able to go about her business without getting unfriendly inundations, she has been trolled a great deal online and was left with no option but to disable the comment feature on her Instagram account.
Like her mother who had Netflix and Hallmark sever ties with her, Olivia’s career has also suffered some setbacks as a result of the scandal. Among other things, Hwelett-Packard removed her from its adverts and Sephora announced that its partnership with the social media celebrity would be coming to an end. That’s not all; the USC Registrar would later confirm that the sisters are no longer students of the university. We are yet to confirm if they were expelled.
More so, it is said that Isabella aspires to become an actress like her mother. If this claim is true, then the scandal is bound to probably have far-reaching consequences, such that may make it difficult for her to find her footing in the industry.

Dose Lori Loughlin Have A Son?
Before Lori got married to Mossimo Giannulli, she was married to Michael R. Burns. In the same vein, Lori isn’t Mossimo’s first lover. Before they got married, he had a relationship that saw the birth of his only son named Gianni Giannullli.
By the virtue of her marriage to the fashion designer, Gianni is Lori’s son, her stepson. Like his stepsister Isabella, it is difficult to tell a thing or two about Gianni. Nonetheless, we have been able to uncover that he’s the founder of The Smart Co., a food company that has been able to set itself apart for its toaster pastry.
