The TV host was given birth to on the 24th day of the month of May n the year 1985. She was given birth to in Wayne, a city in Pennsylvania, USA where she also spent her early days with a younger sister who has been identified as Carly Hunt.
The media personality was born to a father identified as Bruce Hunt and a mother named Krista Hunt. Her dad worked as a real estate design manager while Krista worked as a yoga teacher. Apparently, Kasie grew up in quite a well-to-do home where she was given all she needed to have a good life.
Growing up, Kasie had her high school education at Conestoga High School, a secondary school in Pennsylvania, from where she graduated in 2003. Kasie Hunt kick-started her career as a journalist as an intern in the political unit of NBC News. During this time, she gained valuable experience that would go on to help her during her career. After interning with NBC for a while, she landed a job with the National Journal’s CongressDaily to work as a health policy reporter. In this capacity, Kasie displayed her prowess as a good writer, making research and penning down her thoughts about the highly talked-about passage of the Affordable Care Act.
After some time, she later landed another job with Politico, an American journalism company where she served as as a writer. While with Politico, Kasie effectively covered the 2010 midterm elections in the US. In 2011, Kasie left Politico and started working with the Associated Press, a world-renowned news agency where she was made the political reporter. During her time working with the Associated Press, she successfully oversaw the coverage of the 2012 presidential campaign of Mitt Romney.
Finally, in January 2013, Kasie Hunt joined NBC News and began to work there as an off-air reporter and producer. In this capacity, she covered Congress and politics for the media house. The next year in 2014, Kasie became a political correspondent and began to appear frequently on MSNBC to talk and report politics.
