Jordan Buhat was born on the 1st of December, 1992 in Edmonton, Alberta in Canada. He was raised around the Rocky Mountains of Canada where he fell in love with his community’s activities, such as its Fringe Festival, which is regarded the second biggest in the world and its Hockey Team, the Edmonton Oilers.
Growing up, his interest and desire to become an actor was ignited after he watched the popular Disney High School Musical but his pursuit of the art did not occur until after he completed his education, graduating from the University of Alberta.
His first foray into the world of entertainment came in 2013 when he auditioned for Big Brother Canada. Although he never got a chance to become a part of the show, Jordan Buhat did not give up his interest in becoming an actor and finally got a chance to live his dream when he was cast as an unnamed character in the movie, Summer of 84 in 2018.
In the same year, he starred in the TV movie, Blurt, as the character Jock, making it his first appearance in a full-length movie as a named character. After his first two appearances, his biggest role yet and career breakthrough came via the show, Grown-ish.
He was cast to play the character, Vivek Shah in the show and he has appeared in every single episode of the show so far since its debut in January 2018.
