Who is Finn Cole and How Old is He?

Finn Cole was born Finlay Lewis Cole on the 9th of November 1995 in the Southwest London area of Kingston, England. Exact details on the identity and profession of his parents are not known, however, his father is known to have worked on boats. He has a total of four brothers, of which one is British Academy Television Award nominee, actor Joe Cole.

Information regarding aspects of Cole’s early life, including where he attended secondary school, is not public knowledge. He is however later known to have enrolled at Esher College before going ahead to pursue an acting career. His big brother played a big part in him getting his break as he reportedly helped him secure his first audition.

Following the assistance provided by his brother, Finn Cole made his debut as an extra in the action film Offender (2012). Two years after that, he was able to land a main cast role in Peaky Blinders (2014-present), a show which his brother also features in. Joe, whose birth name is Joseph Michael Cole, was born on the 28th of November, 1988. He began his acting career after he was accepted into the National Youth Theatre. His first notable role was in a one-night show in the West End in the late 2000s. In 2010, he landed roles in British television series like the police procedural series The Bill and the medical drama series Holby City. He further bagged roles on stage at the Bush Theatre’s sell-out School Season.

In the following years, Joe appeared in episodes of Come Fly with Me (2011), Injustice (2011), The Thick of It (2012), and Skins (2012). On the film front, he appeared in Now Is Good (2012), Offender (2012), A Long Way Down (2014), Green Room (2015), and Secret in Their Eyes (2015) which starred Chiwetel Ejiofor, Nicole Kidman, and Julia Roberts. In recent time, some of his more notable roles include his role as John Shelby in Peaky Blinders (2013-2017) and as Billy Waller in the biographical war film Thank You for Your Service (2017).

For his performance in the film A Prayer Before Dawn (2017), Finn Cole’s big brother, who went on to add writer to his list of professions after penning a comedy series with English comedian and actor Matt Lucas, earned a BIFA – British Independent Film Award BIFA for Best Actor.
