Danielle was born on the 1st of June, 1977 in Plainview, New York as one of two children of her mother, Fran. Not much is known of her father and every indication suggests she was raised by a single parent. Although she was born in New York, her family relocated to Florida where she began her education.
In Florida, while she was in elementary school, Danielle Harris signed up for a beauty contest, which she eventually won and got a trip to New York as her prize. While she was in New York, Danielle’s beauty attracted a number of modeling offers, which eventually forced her family to relocate to New York.
Through her career as a model, which she combined with her schooling, Danielle Harris grew to star in television commercials, and eventually begin a career as an actress, a career she has maintained to this day.

Growing up, Danielle Harris always attracted opportunities in show business, and after answering yes to a couple of them, they eventually led to her first appearance in a non-commercial onscreen production, as Samantha Garretson in the soap opera, One Life to Live in 1985.
It was a solitary episode appearance for Danielle and she followed it up with another appearance in Spenser: For Fire, in an episode as Tara.

The wedding was attended by friends and family of the couple and since they got married, they have grown their family with two children, the first being Carter Davis Gross who was born on the 21st of February, 2017 while their second child is also a son, Jagger Maxwell Gross, who was born on the 8th of October, 2018. Another interesting fact about their children is, they gave birth to both kids via In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
