Born on the 4th of March 1993, in New Jersey, Bobbi Kristina Brown was a television personality, actress, and singer. She was the daughter of veteran singers Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.
Bobbi was subjected to intense scrutiny from the media from quite a tender age because of her parent’s status as celebrities. She was raised in the spotlight and had a difficult childhood because both her parents struggled with drug problems and domestic violence.
At barely one-year-old in 1994, Bobbi accompanied her mother Whitney Houston to the stage to accept an American Music Award. From then onwards, she became a regular feature in her mother’s music both audio and video.
In 2007, Whitney and Bobby divorced, and custody of 14-year-old Bobbi was awarded to her mother.
Career
Bobby came to limelight in the shadow of her parents’ celebrity status. Still, she did not stay there, she ventured in the entertainment industry to create her own stardom away from the influence of her parents, but that seemed almost impossible.
Bobbi was seen many times singing with her mother at her concerts and with her magical voice and with the great platform provided by her mother, she had a great opportunity to grow as a celebrated singer.
She recorded some songs along with her mother. Some of these were credited to her, and some others were considered a recorded private moment with her mother.
Films
Other than music, Bobbi appeared in some films and reality show like her father’s Being Bobby Brown, Tyler Perry’s For Better For Worse, Oprah’s Next Chapter, The 2012 Billboard Music Awards and The Houstons: On Our Own.

What We Know About Bobbi Kristina’s Marriage
Bobbi Kristina’s life seemed to be on track and moving just fine until Whitney had a terrible accident and died a mysterious death on February 11, 2012. This incident broke Bobbi from inside. As reported by the media, she was overwhelmed by her mother’s sudden demise. But she was left as the sole beneficiary of her mother’s hard-earned wealth which she could use in parts at a time.
As the heiress to The Houston Estate and all of her mother’s wealth which was quite a fortune, Bobbi suddenly became quite desirable for lots of young and idle men looking for a wealthy lady to latch on to.
Bobbi did try to shake things but soon announced her engagement to Nick Gordon in late 2012. She had often referred to him as her big brother. Nick became a part of the Houston household when he was just 12. So they grew up together and were more like siblings. Hence their engagement caused something of a scandal as it was seen as incest.
This notwithstanding Bobbi Kristina and Gordon went ahead to get married in 2014. Their marriage was obviously not acknowledged in the family as Bobby Brown’s lawyer released a statement saying Bobbi was not married.
Health Problems, Eventual Death, and Funeral
As much as many expected Bobbi to be happy since she had so much money and the man of her dreams to go with it, Bobbi was far from happy. Rumour had it that she was into drugs, and as if to prove it, she began to lose a massive amount of weight.
On January 31, 2015, Bobbi was found face down in a bathtub in her Alpharetta, Georgia home. She was rushed to the hospital and placed in a medically induced coma after it was determined that her brain function had significantly diminished.
She remained in a coma for a long time while her father and the rest of the family tried to get specialists to bring her back. The hospital clearly stated that her condition had nothing to do with either alcohol or drug. As her condition deteriorated, her family was told that any meaningful recovery would be “a miracle”. On 26th July 2015 after being hospitalized with induced coma for more than five months, Bobbi Kristina Brown died in Duluth, Georgia, the USA at the age of 22 years.
She was buried in a private funeral in Georgia where close friends and family had gathered to say one final goodbye to the 22-year-old.
American reality television and media personality, singer, and heiress, Bobby Kristina Brown had a net worth of $20 million.
