The famous ghost hunter Zachary Alexander Bagans popularly known as Zak Bagans is an American actor, television personality, and a prolific writer who is best known for hosting the Travel Channel television series titled Ghost Adventures.
Prior to his ghost hunting career, Zak was always skeptical about the existence of ghosts, but his onetime experience with the spirit of a suicidal woman in his apartment changed everything. Who is Zak Bagans?
Born Zachary Alexander Bagans in Washington, D.C., he came into this world on April 5, 1977. He holds an American nationality and is of Italian, German, and Czech ethnic descent. Bagans grew up with his other siblings Meredith, Sky, and Phil in Illinois where he received his basic education.
He attended Glenbard West High School and graduated in 1995. He further enrolled at the Motion Picture Institute, Michigan. Soon after his graduation, he relocated to Las Vegas to pursue a career in film documentaries. In Las Vegas, Zak first started working as a disc jockey and he performed at several weddings including that of Nick Groff in 2004.
Zak has always been sceptic about the existence of ghosts, but his perception changed after he had an experience with the ghost of a suicidal woman in his former apartment in Michigan. Following the encounter, he developed a keen interest in investigating the paranormal. Alongside Aaron Goodwin and Nick Groff, Zak Bagans began the 2004 reality television documentary series known as Ghost Adventures. The series showcases how the trio investigates places reported to have ghosts lurking around them. It has been showing on the Travel Channel since 2008 and has completed more than 14 seasons to date.
Furthermore, Zak started hosting a spin-off of the Ghost Adventures titled Paranormal Challenge in 2011. He also anchored the Travel channel special titled Ultimate Travel: Legends of the Park. He further collaborated with Kelly Crigger to publish his first book titled Dark World: Into the Shadows with the Lead Investigator of the Ghost Adventures Crew in 2011. The following year, alongside Praga Khan, Zak released a song titled Lords of Acids and later on, in the same year, he produced other shows such as Paranormal Paparazzi as well as Nightline.
He also created another spin-off called Ghost Adventures: Aftershocks which aired from 2014 to 2015; after which he appeared on the Late Night Show with James Corden. His other shows include Deadly Possessions that has been airing from 2016 to present and the 2018 American horror film titled Demon House.

Just as we mentioned earlier, Zak Bagans grew up with three siblings, his older sister Meredith and two younger siblings Sky and Phil. Dolce otherwise known as ForBiddeN was an American cosmetologist, best known for being MySpace celebrity during the mid-2000s. She is of Italian and Irish ethnic descent. Dolce appeared in different commercials for Playboy, Axe Deodorant, and the game Def Jam: Icon. The duo had a brief relationship in 2013 and in 2017, following her excessive intake of alcohol, Dolce was said to have died of liver failure.
Soon after his break up with Dolce, Zak Bagans started dating Ashley Mallete whom he later engaged in 2014. He posted several pictures he took with Ashley on Twitter in 2014; however, nothing much was heard about their engagement till date. Also, Bagans hasn’t shared so much information about his personal life lately; he has preferred to keep it on the low and it will be hard to ascertain if he is in a current relationship or not.
Apparently, he is not yet married and doesn’t have a daughter too. He has a dog called Gracie; which he adopted from Nevada Society in a bid to support the prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
