Jadyn Wong started her acting career in 2006 when she won an audition to appear in the award-winning mini-series titled Broken Trail. It was her first audition and after many actresses have auditioned for the role, Wong was selected. Starring alongside Robert Duvall, she portrayed the role of Ghee Moon in the series which later won an Emmy Award and was also nominated for the Golden Globe Awards. Her next movie was Space Buddies (2009) where she played the role of a Chinese reporter.

In 2010, Wong appeared as April Jung in a short film titled, The Letters as well as Caprica where she portrayed the game master. The following year, she starred in an episode of Rookie Blue, Being Erica and Stay with Me. She appeared in the 2012 movie titled Cosmopolis, playing the role of the Money Channel Interviewer. Later in 2014, Jadyn Wong was a cast in Debug, Lost Girl, Spun Out, Client Seduction, and Working the Engels.

She played the lead role in the CBS television series, Scorpion from 2014 to 2018. The series was canceled on the 12th of May, 2018 after its fourth season.

Jadyn Wong starred in 93 episodes of the series as Happy Quinn, a gifted mechanical engineer with a high intelligent quotient of 184. She was christened after her parent’s favorite song, ‘Shiny Happy People’ by R.E.M. Her mother’s death through childbearing led her father into alcoholism. Having thought that he couldn’t take care of her, Happy’s father then handed her over to a foster home. She eventually grew up by moving from one foster home to another.

Broken Trail is a 2006 Alan Geoffrion Western television miniseries that starred Jadyn Wong, Robert Duvall, and Thomas Haden Church. Wong played the character of Ghee Moon in two episodes of the mini-series. She nailed the role after an impressive audition in Cantonese which promoted Robert Duvall to include her among the cast. The adept actress gave her all in the series as she learned Mandarin and deferred her college studies in the course of filming the TV series. Broken Trail is her most acclaimed work as the series bagged Primetime Emmy Awards, Angel Awards, and earned a Golden Globe Award nomination.
