Ashley Harlan was born in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania in the United States on July 24, 1983. She was raised by her parents David W. Harlan and Jeannie Harlan in Newcastle. Harlan was raised along with her other siblings. While she was growing up, she went to Laurel High School and after her graduation, she enrolled at St. Francis University in Loretto, Cambria County were she obtained a bachelor’s degree in health science graduating in 2009.
After her graduation from St. Francis University, she studied further and earned her master’s degree in Medicine. Harlan and Big Ben first met at Alliance Church in Harlan’s hometown in Newcastle. The American professional football player has participated in several top competitions such as the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl. Five months after their marriage, the couple announced in June 2012, that they are expecting their first child and later in November, Ashley gave birth to a son named Benjamin Todd Roethlisberger Jr. It was a joyous moment for Big Ben who disclosed it to his fans via Facebook. Also, the couple welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Baylee Marie Roethlisberger on March 19, 2014. Two years later, the baby of the house arrived, Harlan and Ben welcomed their third child on May 26, 2016; it was a son whom they named Bodie Hunter Roethlisberger.
