American hip-hop artist, French Montana has managed to attain the millionaire status estimated to be in tune of $8 million as a result of his contributions to music.

As at when this publication was made, Montana was 33 years of age. Born in 1984 in Rabat, Morocco, French Montana’s real name is Karim Kharbouch. Rabat, a place dominated by French speakers is the inspiration behind his moniker. The other name, Montana, comes from the 90s hit movie, “Scarface” whose main character Tony Montana, was played by Al Pacino. As he grew up, French always had a passion for rap music and football.
When French was 13, his parents moved to the US in the South Bronx. During his stay in America, Montana joined the Roosevelt High School. He didn’t understand any English at that time. Later on, his father left the US, and his mother had to depend on support from the government.

He was born to Mr Abdela Kharbouch and mother, Mrs Kadija Guled Kharbouch in Morocco. From the time of his birth, he lived in a family estate just outside Casablanca for the first 13 years of his life.
Shortly, in 1996, he moved with his family to The United States and settled in the South Bronx, Newyork. He also has 2 brothers named Zack Kharbouch and Ayoub Kharbouch who he considers his biggest fans as well as best friends who always has his back.
He had a wife named Deen Kharbouch whom he married in 2007. Unfortunately, the pair got separated in 2012 and had their divorce in 2014 as a result of French’s infidelity and escapades triggered by his celebrity status. He once admitted that the status comes with lots of female admirers and alcohol that can make it hard to be faithful to one’s partner. The former couple had an adorable son named Kruz Kharabouch who was born on the 11th of July 2009.
French established a mixtape show, which he named Cocaine City- the name of his record label. This show was very popular in the underground hip-hop. However, his break came when he was called by P. Diddy. Diddy believed that Montana had a distinctive sound that made him unique among others. He later went on to sign Montana on his record label, Bad Boy Records, and Interscope record label.
He was listed in the Forbes’ Hip-Hop Cash Princes list of 2014. This is a junior list of the Hip-Hop Cash Kings. His boss, Diddy is featured on the Kings list and has maintained the top 3 spot for many years now.

In May 2013, Montana released his debut studio album titled, “Excuse My French”. This album did not perform so well as it only sold less than 100,000 copies. Montana has since focused on releasing mixtapes some of which have enjoyed commercial success.
He is believed to make about $30,000 for every live performance that he makes. He reportedly made $1 million in 2013 from record sales alone. French Montana has endorsed brands such as Pelle Pelle and Sprite and is the face of Diddy’s Ciroc Vodka.
In addition to making music, French Montana is also a regular of TV shows and has appeared in “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and its spin-off, “Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons” when he was in a relationship with younger Kardashian sister, Khloe. He has also appeared in “Wild ‘N Out” and “Love & Hip Hop: New York”. The hip-hop star had a cameo role in 2016 movie “The Perfect Match”.

Just like any other rapper, Montana has a lot of properties that are worth a lot of money. He has been spotted wearing a watch worth $100,000. He has also been spotted driving a Rolls Royce Ghost, along with an Escalade and a Maserati Gran Turismo. French paid Selena Gomez $3.3 million in 2016 for her Calabasas home.
In all, it is believed that the man is worth $8 million.
The prolific rapper is 6ft 1 in (186cm) this is quite a tall height for a man and according to his last BMI (body mass index), he was confirmed fit for his age.
