Michelle was born in Memphis Tennessee. While growing up, she learned to play the guitar and piano and also took voice lessons from Bob Westbrook who also worked with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. In 2014, she began starring in her own spin-off of “Love & Hip Hop” titled “K. Michelle: My Life”. The show is basically the chronicle of her life after leaving “Love & Hip Hop”, her music career and her relationship with family and friends.
Michelle has an endorsement deal with Jack Daniels, she is the first African-American to endorse the brand. She is also working on producing her own drink which will be available in the summer of 2017.
