Apparently, acting is not her only forte as her first book, a young adult novel titled Elixir (2010) became a New York Times bestseller. The success of the book spawned a trilogy – Devoted (2011) and True (2013) were released as sequels.

Hilary is also an accomplished businesswoman who has earned off a number of business ventures, endorsement and licensing deals. She debuted her first clothing line “Stuff by Hilary Duff” in 2004. She and Mike Comrie, former professional hockey player announced their engagement in February 2010 and married on August 14, 2010, in Santa Barbara, California.
