Following her strong passion for acting, Henao enrolled at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts where she obtained a diploma in acting.
Her Acting Career
Upon graduation, Zulay Henao made her first film appearance in 2005, appearing in Film 101 as well as playing the role of Gloria Rojas in Clearview. Two years later, she made her television debut, starring in the 2007 lifetime drama series titled Army Wives. She also played minor roles in Illegal Tender and Feel the Noise the same year. Her outstanding performances made way for the star actress to land bigger roles in subsequent movies and television series.
The following year, she starred in the horror film titled Grizzly Park where she played the role of Lola in 2008. She played an opposite character to that of Charles Dutton in the movie Racing for Time the same year. The amazing actress also played a lead role in the 2009 movie titled Fighting along with Channing Tatum as well as the sci-fi series S. Darko.
