When Uriah Shelton made his first appearance in front of a camera in an acting capacity, he was 10 years old, and since that time, he has continued to appear across a range of Hollywood projects, from film to TV shows. While he is known primarily for his acting works, which include appearances in the controversial show, 13 Reasons Why, he is also a singer and a trained martial artist.

Just like the show, 13 Reasons Why, he has had his own fair share of controversies since he became a recognizable name and face in the industry. Uriah Shelton’s Biography & Age

Uriah Shelton calls Magnolia Springs, Alabama home but he was originally born in Dallas, Texas on the 10th of March, 1997. He and his family relocated to Alabama when he was one month old.

Uriah Shelton’s childhood life was all about creative exploration and that exploration led him to a modeling class at the age of seven, which then led him to compete in a talent competition in Orlando. His performance in the talent competition drew the interest of several talent agencies from New York City to Los Angeles and the amount of interest in his talent eventually drove him and his family to relocate to the City of Angels.

In Los Angeles, Uriah Shelton began life as an actor at the age of 10, making his first credited appearance in the TV show, Without a Trace, where he starred as the young version of one of the show’s leading characters, Brett.

In the same year, he played a similar role as Young William in Ghost Whisperer and got his chance at playing an original character the following year. In 2008, Uriah Shelton was cast in five projects, one of which was his first big screen project, Lower Learning. He also appeared in Ring of Death, a TV movie where he starred as Tommy Wyatt.

As the years passed, Uriah Shelton appeared in more projects in films and TV shows, some of which include The Suite Life on Deck, Trust Me, The Glades – one of his more popular works where he starred as Jeff Cargill.

Since he became an adult, with more control over his choice of roles, Uriah Shelton has appeared in shows like Blue, where he played the character, Josh, and in Girl Meets World, where he played Joshua Matthews.

In his 13 Reasons Why appearance, Uriah played the character, Pratters. He also had roles in Flock of Four, Enter the Warriors Gate, Lifted, and a couple more.

Personal Life

Since he joined Hollywood at an early age, there has been a long time to observe and collect information on his personal life. At the moment, Uriah Shelton is believed to be single but he wasn’t always. He was in a relationship with an unknown woman which was the cause of some of the controversies that have plagued his career.

With the unknown woman, Uriah Shelton was served with a restraining order after he allegedly kicked the woman in the stomach.

For non-human relationships, Uriah Shelton is an animal lover and he has kept dogs and a hamster as pets. Currently, he has two dogs named Ningbo and Archer.

Uriah Shelton can credit the early start he has in his career as an actor to his parents, who supported his interest in becoming an actor.

Born to Allen Shelton and Cindy Shelton, whom we know little of as individuals, Uriah began to explore interests in the piano, in martial arts and soccer and with their support, eventually settled on acting. As for other members of his family, so far, little is known.

• Another of Uriah Shelton’s controversies includes his relationship with a co-star, Rowan Blanchard. The two are famously known to be in a feud which is based on the opinions on issues like feminism and racism. Both actors have reportedly gotten into several clashes on the set of the show, Girl Meets World.

• During his early teenage years, Uriah Shelton got into a motorcycle accident that saw him break six of his teeth and his femur, he also had a couple of lacerations on his face. He got surgery to have a small part of his large intestine removed as well.

• Uriah Shelton has a body height of 5 feet 6 inches and a body weight of 62 kg. He also has dark brown eyes and hair.

• More than being an actor, Uriah Shelton is also a singer and some of his released songs are Anything For You, I Wanna Live Like That and Come Inside My Heart.
