Originally built in 2014, the house was designed by L.A.-based architect, Mark Rios, for his own personal use. He lived in it for about four years before putting it on the market for an initial price of $36 million in 2018. That listing failed to attract any reasonable offers, forcing Rios and his realtors to cut the asking price to $32.5 million, and later $29.5 million. Noah would later snap it up in the first month of January 2021 for $2 million less than the asking price.

The lavish house measures 11,000 square feet and has six bedrooms and 12 bathrooms spread across three stories. The main level layout features a chef’s kitchen, formal dining room, and a den. Immediately above it is where the master bedroom is located. This main suite boasts several floor-to-ceiling windows, dual walk-in closets for a couple, as well as two bathrooms with heated stone floors.

The second floor of Noah’s new house features four en-suite bedrooms as well as an office/staff quarters while the third floor comes with a screening room, a separate guest suite, a game room, and the rooftop terrace. The penthouse is sited atop a low-rise, pre-war building known as the Stella Tower which is located west of Broadway.

Noah’s Manhattan penthouse measures 3,596-square-foot and includes three en-suite bedrooms and two half-baths. It also has a dining/living room, with dark wood flooring and huge windows, which is 29-foot-long. There is also an open kitchen that boasts of furniture-grade cabinetry and polished concrete counters. The master suite occupies its own wing and includes a dressing room, bathroom with heated marble flooring, and steam shower. The property also has a 934-square-foot private terrace which is quite impressive.

Just two years after the purchase of his first property, Noah upped the ante by snapping up a Los Angeles house worth $20.5 million. The gated property measures 1.3 acres while the house itself is about 10,000 square feet. The contemporary-style home features an indoor-outdoor living pattern. There is a great room with a bar and fireplace. It also has a 2,200-square-foot master suite and bar, sitting room, dual baths, and 800-square-foot terrace. Two more en-suite bedrooms and a “VIP suite” with a private terrace complete the upper level.

The kitchen is equally exquisite. It features dual marble islands, top-of-the-shelf appliances, and a climate-controlled wine room. Other elegant amenities in the property included a cigar room, den with fireplace, formal dining room with a weeping wall, home theatre, staff quarters, butler’s kitchen, cabana room, a three-car display garage, and a 62-foot-long pool.

Noah maintained ownership of this house for several months before selling it off for the price of $21.7 million in August 2020, netting a small profit in the process.

Beyond houses, Trevor Noah is also a lover of superfast sports cars. He had worked in his stepfather’s garage as a kid, and even though he loathed all the oil and cuts that came with the work, he nevertheless grew up with a taste for cars.
