Who is Travis Kelce?
Travis Michael Kelce was born on the 5th October 1989 in Westland, Ohio in the United States of America. He spent his early years in Cleveland Heights neighborhood where he attended Cleveland Heights High School. While at Cleveland Heights, Travis was lettered in baseball as well as football and basketball. He received the All-Lake Erie League team call-up after rushing for 2,539 yards in his senior year. At the completion of his high school, Travis enrolled at the University of Cincinnati where he continued his collegiate career.
Playing for the Cincinnati Bearcats, Travis spent four years with the team ending in 2012. He was redshirted in his first year in 2008. Returning for his freshman year in 2009, Travis featured in eleven games making eight rushes for 47 yards at the end of the season. He served a one-year suspension after breaking team rule in 2010. He came back in 2011 and made eleven appearances for the Bearcats making two touchdowns as well as 13 receptions for 150 yards. In his last season, Travis made eight touchdowns and 45 receptions. As a result of his performance, he was named to the All-Big East First team and was voted the College Tight End Player of the Year Award in 2012.

Travis Kelce was picked by the Kansas City Chiefs during the NFL draft of 2013. He was signed to a four-year deal worth $3.12 million. Starting his first professional season, he was placed on injured reserve list which kept him out for the whole of the season. The following season, he showed great productivity for the Chiefs while making 16 appearances; he had a total of five touchdowns, 67 receptions and 862 yards which earned him his first slot in the Pro Bowl. He also got two more Pro Bowl selections 2016 and 2017 respectively.
Travis penned a five-year contract extension deal worth $46 million in 2016. He notched 1,125 yards with four touchdowns and 85 receptions after that. He also showed great improvement in 2017 and ended the season on a good note covering 1,038 yards, 83 receptions, and eight touchdowns. In 2018, he made fourteen appearances for the Chiefs having new career highs of 1,220 yards, ten touchdowns, and 93 receptions.

The tight end player suffered a head injury after colliding with Tennessee Titans safety Johnathan Cyprien. During the game, the tight end player stretched forward to add a few extra yards before Johnathan quickly made a tackle hence colliding helmet-to-helmet with Travis. After the clash, Kelce found it difficult to stand nor walk straight. With great effort, the tight end was led to the locker room and he didn’t make it back because of the concussion
