Tracee also worked as a fill-in reporter with CitiCable 3 in Torrance, California during this time.
She properly kick-started her professional career as a reporter in 2010 after her graduation when she landed a job with FOX KQDS, a Fox-affiliated television station licensed to Duluth, Minnesota. At FOX KQDS, Tracee worked as a weekend anchor and weekday reporter. While on the job, she covered areas like Wisconsin, Michigan and Upper Minnesota.
Tracee was so good at her job with FOX KQDS that she got two Emmy award nominations for her excellence. The first nomination was in recognition of her tribute to Ben Larson, a missionary who was killed in Haiti’s earthquake in 2010. The second nomination was for her work on the network’s Honest Northland Series.
Tracee Carrasco did not remain with FOX KQDS for long; she left the station for WKRN News 2, an ABC affiliate in 2011. This change of station made her relocate to Nashville.
