Who Is Sarah Joy Brown From General Hospital?
Sarah Joy Brown who is better known by her stage name Sarah Brown is a respected and celebrated movie star in America. She was born on February 18, 1975, in Eureka, California and was raised in a Christian home. Not much is known about the careers of her parents but their names are David and Pamela Brown. The pair seems well-to-do financially as they were able to make Brown’s childhood quite memorable. Also, they sorted her fees at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts where the actress showed a special interest in theatre.
Brown debuted her acting career in 1994 while still in college with a role in science fantasy series VR Troopers, wherein she was cast as Kaitlin Star. Two years on, she had a minor role in a 3-part episode of Power Rangers Zeo and gained some recognition for her performance. In 1996, the creators of ABC soap opera, General Hospital Frank and Doris Hursley (who also created Search for Tomorrow) beckoned Brown to join the famous soap opera which debuted in 1963.
With a new contract under her belt, she began her career on the TV show as Carly Corinthos and soon became fans favorite. By 1997, a year after joining the cast of the show, Sarah Joy Brown had started making remarkable waves, winning Outstanding Younger Actress in 1997 and 1998, respectively. Unfortunately, she left in 2001 to work on other TV series including Crossing Jordan Strong Medicine, Without Trace, As the World Turns, Cold Case, The Perfect Husband: The Laci Peterson Story, among others.
