Reign Edwards is a native of Maryland born on December 1, 1996. The actress comes from a close-knit family and is known to openly express her unflinching love for her clan. Reign is the second of three daughters born to Jeff Robinson and Destini Reign. Not much is known about her father but the daytime star and her sisters were single-handedly raised by their mom.

Edwards discovered her artistic talents from an early age and thankfully, her family was very supportive of her dreams to become a performer. The Hartford County native and her family later relocated to Los Angeles, California in search of greener pastures.

Reign Edwards booked her first acting gig at age 12 with an uncredited role in the 2008 movie Explicit Ills. Her next role came two years later in the short film Thicker Than Water.

Reign’s other film roles include Young Zenobia in 35 and Ticking (2011) and more recently, as Brooke in Hell Fest (2018). Her journey from the big screen to TV has been quite remarkable. Her first small-screen roles came in 2015 after landing spots on Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans and on Disney’s K.C. Undercover. That same year, Edwards got her breakout role with the CBS soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful. You probably know Reign better as Nicole Avant Dominguez, a social media exec and sister to Maya Avant (Karla Mosley) on the long-running soap.

She joined the B&B cast in January 2015 and had fun for three years while recurring as Nicole. The daytime star also had recurring roles on two primetime series. In 2017, she portrayed Melody in FX’s Snowfall, and between 2017 and 2019, she appeared as an ambitious Liana Martin on CBS’s MacGyver.

Though Reign Edwards admits that she learned a lot and had a great time on B&B, it is unclear if and when she will return to the long-running soap. For now, the actress who is excited to explore new projects beyond daytime has a whole lot on her bucket list. Though Reign Edwards has been on the acting scene since the late noughties, she got wider recognition after her performance on The Bold and the Beautiful. So far, she is a three-time Daytime Emmy Award nominee. It may be worthy to note that she earned the nominations in the same category for three consecutive years (2016 – 2018). Yeah, she was consecutively nominated for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series.

In addition to her innate talents, it was mostly Reign’s family that inspired her decision to pursue a career in acting.
