Olga Kurylenko’s Bio
Olga was born Olga Konstiantinivna Kurylenko on the 14th of November, 1979 in Berdiansk, Ukraine. Her father is a Ukrainian named Konstantin while her Russian-born mother is named Marina Alyabysheva. She is of Ukrainian, Russian, and Belarusian descent.
From a very young age, Olga was said to have had an interest in fashion. At around the age of 15, she moved to Moscow from Ukraine, spending a year there before packing her bags again and moving to Paris. In less than a year in the French capital, the aspiring model was able to land herself a contract with Paris-based Madison modelling agency. She proved to be an instant hit in the modelling world as she quickly appeared on the covers of Vogue and Elle magazines. She further appeared on the covers of magazines like Madame Figaro and Marie Claire, and also became the face of brands like Bebe, Clarins, and Helena Rubinstein.
After a few years as a model, Olga Kurylenko made the transition from modelling to acting. Her very first roles were in an episode of the French TV series Largo Winch (2001) and then in Seal‘s music video, “Love’s Divine” in 2003. Olga seemed to have moved on quickly from her ex-husband as she soon began dating American mobile phone accessory entrepreneur Damian Gabrielle.
