Race tension in the United States is a serious issue that has been going on for centuries. Nevertheless, the hope is that, with the work done every decade, black and white people can live together amicably with mutual respect for one another. In light of this, it is satisfying when public relationships such as that of Bill Burr and Nia Renee Hill exist.

Bill Burr is one of the most notable comedians in America, particularly among modern day followers of the craft and as such, he needs no introduction. His wife, Nia Renee Hill is an actress, who also has a talent for writing. Over the years, she has starred in several films and television shows. For many who might not be familiar with the wife of the comedian, here is a quick look at her life.

Who is Nia Renee Hill and How Old is She?

Nia Renee Hill was born to her parents on the 2nd of June, 1969 in Los Angeles, California. Sadly, her parents eventually got divorced.

When it comes to normal and traditional expectations, Nia’s story hasn’t always fit. Right from her childhood, the story of Nia’s life has stood out. For example, while divorce almost always sees the mother get custody of the children and eventually raise them, Nia’s father won custody and raised the actress. Her father’s name is currently unknown and he is known to have been a manager for comedic acts.

For her education, Nia Renee Hill attended Greensville Country High School in Virginia before she proceeded to Emerson College in Boston. She graduated in 2000, having studied media arts.

Nia Renee Hill’s choice of study in college was down to her passion for the arts. Having appeared in school dramas as a child, she stuck with her interest in entertainment and studied a related course at a higher education level. Following graduation, she began her career in 2001 as a casting assistant, working on The Education of Max Bickford. Then she later worked as a talent coordinator for an episode of Chappelle’s Show in 2003.

Career Achievements

To most people, Nia Renee Hill is simply the wife of the popular and ever busy comedian, Bill Burr, who created and stars in F Is For Family. Bill is also currently one of the most popular names in Comedy. It is this large shadow cast by her husband’s success that has left Nia Renee Hill with a reputation as just the wife of the comedian. Yet, Nia is quite the successful career of her own.

Perhaps it was a lack of opportunities or a reluctance to put herself in front of the camera, but she did not star in front of the camera until nine years after her graduation from college. She made her debut in 2009’s Carpool, a short film, as the character Rhonda.

Her debut role quickly spurred more appearances and she followed it up with an appearance in a television show, Lila, Long Distance in 2011, starring as a recurring character for two episodes. The following year, she made another appearance in another short film, Did You Look for Work This Week?

Her first feature-length appearance came in 2013 when she starred as Debbie in Divorce: A Love Story. While she appeared in relatively small projects at the beginning of her career, as she grew into the industry, she got her chance to star in notable projects such as Santa Clarita Diet and F Is for Family where she appears as a recurring character, Georgia Roosevelt. Furthermore, as the wife of Bill Burr, she makes frequent appearances on his popular podcast, Monday Morning Podcast.
