Nadine Caridi Biography
On the 6th of November, 1962, the woman whose life would be played by Margot Robbie on the silver screen was born in London. Although born in London, she was raised in Brooklyn, New York where she attended John Dewey High School for her basic education.
Not much is known about Nadine Caridi’s parents nor other background details like her siblings, but she began her life in the spotlight when she became the poster girl for Miller Lite, a beer brand. She also modeled for other brands in several national commercials, including the prestigious Monday Night Football commercials seen by millions of Americans.
There is no information on her college history but following the completion of the phase of her life with Jordan Belfort, she has gone back to school to obtain a Masters and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, earning the latter in 2015 from the Pacifica Graduate Institute.
Family: Husband and Kids
Today, Nadine Caridi is living a simpler life with her husband, John Macaluso. John is a former CEO of Wizard World and together, the couple appears to be living peacefully and happily together, raising their children – three daughters from Macaluso’s first marriage and two children from Nadine’s marriage to Jordan Belfort. All five children are named Frankie, Allie, Nicky, Chandler, and Carter respectively.
Before she got to a peaceful and life of non-criminal involvement with John Macaluso, she was in a marriage that made her famous, with Jordan Belfort. The relationship began through Nadine’s first partner, Alan Wilzig. Alan Wilzig introduced Nadine Caridi to Jordan Belfort during one of the many lavish parties that Jordan was known to throw.
When they met, Belfort was married to his first wife, Denise Lombardo but perhaps in what should have been a tell for what would come, Belfort’s marriage did not stop him from engaging in an affair with Nadine Caridi. Eventually, the affair led to full-blown dating and marriage when Belfort eventually divorced his wife, Denise.
The marriage began in 1991 and it looked set to become the envy of many New York socialites. As a result of the wealth of Jordan Belfort at the time, Nadine Caridi quit her career as a model and began life as a mother and a socialite with two children Chandler and Carter.
The marriage hit the rocks in 2003 when Jordan Belfort was sentenced to four years imprisonment after the conclusion of criminal investigations of his stock market crimes. He eventually served just 22 months in prison but while he was out of jail faster than he was expected to serve, his marriage did not survive and Jordan and Nadine eventually got divorced in 2005.
