Moran Atias was born in Haifa, Israel on the 9th of April, 1981 to Israeli-born parents who are of Moroccan-Jewish descent. Little is known about her educational background or her childhood including details of her parents’ profession and schools she attended.
However, as we will come to learn later, Moran Atias began to appear on television at the young age of 15. It is the law for every Israeli to serve in the Israeli Defense Forces but her desire and eagerness to fulfill her civic duty was truncated when she was diagnosed with meningitis at the age of 17. Having lost the chance to serve her fatherland, Moran Atias decided to pursue a career in modeling; hence, moving to Germany and then later to Italy where she worked for the fashion designer, Roberto Cavalli and other brands like D&G and BBG Jewelers.
While she worked on transitioning to acting, she served as the host of an Italian talk show, Kdam Eurovision before she became a full-fledged actress. Over the course of her career as an actress, she has grown to become a rounded filmmaker, producing some of the projects she has appeared in, including Allenby and Third Person.
