If life is just one big adventure, then one person who is truly having a ball is none other than Meisha Johnson. The American media personality first rose to fame as a model/actress. She subsequently diversified her career to the broadcast journalism industry along the way with good results.
Johnson has spent several successful years as an anchor and endeared herself to many with her charming and coquettish persona. She has now once more turned her sights to a new path and hopes to bring her experience and gift of gab to bare in that regard.
Growing up in Minnesota
Daughter of a ballet dancer, Diane Johnson, and a well-known boxer, Dwaine Johnson, Meisha was brought into this world in 1981, in Minnesota, United States of America. Her real name is Meisha Phoebe Jean Johnson and she named after the famous Russian dancer, Mikhail Baryshnikov aka Misha. The media personality is of Swedish heritage and she has a total of four siblings, consisting of two sisters and two brothers.
Meisha Johnson spent her formative years in Minnesota and obtained her education at a local high school. During her school days, she became friends with a foreign exchange student who happened to be from Sweden. The two youngsters naturally bonded over their shared heritage and subsequently started dating. They continued their relationship after graduation and Meisha decided to follow her boo back to Sweden.
In Sweden, she enrolled at Uppsala University for her degree. She also spent her time soaking up the culture, as well as learning her mother tongue. Despite all these achievements, Meisha was not totally fulfilled in Europe. Her passion for the media arts still called to her and so, she courageously decided to head back to the States.
Her Hollywood Stint
Meisha returned to the United States in 2003 and promptly enrolled in the University of Minnesota to study Journalism and Theatre. While there, she appeared in some short plays, TV movies, and a few commercials. She also took great joy in visiting theatres and dance shows with her parents. The young lady successfully completed her studies in 2007 and received her degree that same year.
Following her graduation, Meisha Johnson initially tried her hands at acting, scoring a guest appearance on the long-running soap opera The Young and The Restless. She subsequently landed roles in about three films namely Fall Into Me, 13 Hours in a Warehouse, and Cold Feet. Whilst doing this, Meisha was contacted to serve as the host of a snowmobile TV show back in her native Minnesota. This marked her humble entrance into real journalism.
Exploits in the Broadcast Journalism Industry
Following the end of the snowmobile TV show, Meisha Johnson was tapped to anchor a weekly show, Sledhead 24/7, on Fox Sports. From there, she went on to work as a regular host for several media organizations, including Yokal Sports and Verus, Speed Channel, and Discovery Media (where she hosted sports programs such as Softball 360, Trial Nation, and Yamaha DVD). While doing all this, Johnson also served as the spokesperson of several brands, including K-Swiss Fitness, Atomic Playpen, and Polaris 3M.
She additionally utilized her gift of gab to work as an announcer for various motorcycle races, including Snocross, ATV, and Supercross. In the year 2013, Meisha Johnson joined a Fox-affiliated TV station in Minneapolis known as KMSP. She served as their traffic reporter and spent two years at the media outfit. The lady subsequently journeyed to the city of Philadelphia to take up a similar role at CBS3. Johnson spent three years in Philly during which she endeared herself to locals with her refreshing content.

Her Life Away From the Cameras
Since that great high school love affair which propelled her to follow her boyfriend back to his country, Meisha Johnson has not been in any other notable romance. This may be a result of her crazy work schedule but she is not sweating about it. She is living her best life and is content to lavish all her love on her two rescue cats, Noah and Prince.
The two felines provide her with comfort and companionship at home. They also assist her in her charity work for various rescue organizations. Meisha is a big-time animal lover and supports charities devoted to animal welfare and prevention of cruelty. Noah and Prince help her out in this venture through public appearances on social media.
Another area that Meisha is currently occupied with is her newfound passion for God. Even though the former CBS anchor didn’t come from religious family background, she encountered the Lord around the year 2008. Her faith was further strengthened after reading the book, The Daniel Fast, around 2014/2015. That text left an indelible impression on her and she is now dedicated to preaching the gospel through her online ministry. To facilitate this, Meisha got rid of her old Instagram pics which grabbed attention for the wrong reason. She also enrolled at the University of St Thomas in Minnesota to obtain dual degrees in Law and Theology.
The former CBS anchor now runs an online ministry where she dishes out inspirational and spiritual videos, covering topics such as forgiveness, prosperity, and conflict resolution. She relies on biblical principles to back her messages up and the response has been overwhelming. Her videos regularly get thousands of views, as well as many heart-warming responses.
