He was born Manish Sudhir Patel but he has instead chosen to use his grandfather’s name, Dayal as his professional name. He was born on the 17th of June, 1983 in Orangeburg, South Carolina to parents Sudhir Patel and Hema Patel Sudhir. Manish is of Indian origins, with parents who are from Gujarat, India.
Manish Dayal attended Heathwood Hall Episcopal School for his high school education before proceeding to George Washington University where he graduated from in 2005. If Manish always had the interest in acting, one could not possibly say but after the completion of his bachelor’s degree, he headed to New York where he studied acting at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
After completing his mission in New York, Manish Dayal headed to the home of filmmaking in America, Los Angeles, to begin a proper career in acting. Before he moved to Los Angeles, he worked on several short films between 2005 and 2010, making his debut in 2005 with the short film, Time and the Hour Run. He made his first appearance in a feature-length film shortly after in Break the Addiction: An Inconvenient Truth in 2006.
