LeSean McCoy is a pro-American football superstar who plays in the position of a running back for the Buffalo Bills of the NFL. Picked by the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL draft of 2009, LeSean completed six seasons with the Eagles before joining the Bills via a trade in 2015. LeSean McCoy Brief Bio
LeSean Kamel McCoy came into this world on the 12th day of July 1988; he was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in the United States. Coming from a lineage of athletic stars, the running back was raised by his black American parents Ron and his wife Daphne McCoy. He grew up along with his older brother named LeRon McCoy; LeRon also played football professionally for the Arizona Cardinals. As a child, his mother gave him the nickname Shady following his short temper and constant mood swings. He graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School situated in Harrisburg. While he was there, the young LeSean set his football career sailing with the school team.
During his high school career, LeSean won the Penn Commonwealth Conference Offensive MVP as well as AP Player of the Year Award for his brilliant performances. He completed his high school football career in 2005 and was rated as one of the top college prospects of his set. Prior to his graduation, LeSean participated in the 2004 Nike College Training Camp where he set the fastest record by finishing the 40-yard dash in 4.23 seconds.
The running back went on to attend Milford Academy for one year before transferring to the University of Pittsburgh. He got his first All-Pro team selection in 2011 after leading the league in rushing yards. LeSean finished the season with a total of 1,309 yards. The next year, his contract with the Eagles was extended for five more years in a deal of $45 million. He missed four games during the 2012 season due to injuries. LeSean had a total of 840 rushing yards that year.
In 2013, LeSean once again led the league in rushing yards while amassing a total of 1,607 rushing yards. His remarkable performance earned him his second All-Pro team selection, as well as second Pro Bowl honours. After that, LeSean continued making strides while he got four more Pro Bowl selections in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. He was traded to the Buffalo Bills in March 2015 for a linebacker named Kiko Alonso. Afterwards, he penned a five-year deal worth $40 million with the Bills.

Girlfriend Abuse Allegations and Suspension: What Really Happened?
The running back has been mixed up in several controversies with his former girlfriend and baby mama Delicia Cordon. The duo had a tumultuous relationship which ended a few years ago following some irreconcilable differences. They equally share a son named LeSean McCoy Jr. – born earlier in 2018. Delicia accused LeSean of masterminding a robbery and assault on her. However, McCoy outrightly denied the accusation albeit no charges were filed.
In July 2018, an Instagram post with a picture of a battered woman appeared on Instagram with the poster alleging that LeSean was involved in domestic violence. Although the post was deleted a few minutes later, the NFL began an investigation while suspension news was looming. At the end of their investigation, the league’s management concluded that LeSean had not violated the NFL personal conduct policy. Obviously, it was a mere domestic issue involving a woman with a child fighting not to be evicted from her boyfriend’s property.
Delicia Cordon later took the case to court alleging that he did not protect her when the attack took place. She later changed her claims that he masterminded the attack. The case was due to progress in courts, however, they subsequently settled out of courts without revealing the terms of the settlement.
