Julie Gonzalo was born on the 9th of September, 1981. The actress was born in Buenos Aires, the capital and largest city of Argentina. However, she was raised by her parents in Miami, a city in Florida, USA after her family moved there when she was about 7 years old. Although she is now widely called Julie Gonzalo, the actress’ full birth name is actually Julieta Susana Gonzalo.

The identity of Julie Gonzalo’s parents has not been revealed at the moment as the actress has not spoken much about who they are. However, we know that she has a brother who is called Diego, and the two are very close.

It is quite difficult to know the level of Julie’s educational qualifications because details about where she had her education are quite scarce. Julie Gonzalo kick-started her career in entertainment in 2001 when she was cast as Cherry Moss in The Penny Game, a short film. The next year, she went on to appear in I’m with Lucy, a comedy/romance movie in which she played a character called Eve. She also portrayed Kim Modica in Greetings from Tucson, a TV Series. Her work in these projects helped to give her the experiences she needed to do more in Hollywood.

In 2003, Julie Gonzalo gained attention among movie lovers when she appeared in Freaky Friday, a comedy-fantasy film in which she portrayed Stacey Hinkhouse. Her performance in the movie was hailed by many fans. That same year, she appeared as Sarah Schaefer in NCIS, a TV Series and as Brooke in Exit 9, a TV movie.

In 2006, Julie Gonzalo appeared as Parker Lee in Veronica Mars, an American teen noir mystery TV series. The actress stunned fans and critics with the believability with which she portrayed her character on the series. Julie continued to land more roles in TV series and movies and in 2008 she was cast in Eli Stone, an American legal comedy-drama TV series in which portrayed Maggie Dekker. Her performance was highly applauded and she won the ALMA Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

In 2010, she starred in Castle as Madison Queller and then portrayed Jill Morelli in Nikita. She also played Kim Nichols on The Glades before portraying Kelly in Day One, a TV Movie.

Julie landed one of her biggest roles on TV in 2012 after she was cast as Pamela Rebecca Barnes in Dallas, a TV Series. Her stunning interpretation of her role on the series earned her a nomination for the ALMA Award for Favorite TV Actress in a Drama Series. She was also nominated for the Imagen Award for Best Supporting Actress in Television. Over the years, she has starred in other top-notch series and movies including Ur in Analysis in 2015, Pumpkin Pie Wars in 2016, Falling for Vermont in 2017, Lucifer in 2018 and Flip That Romance in 2019, among many others.
