Jessica Wesson, the actress who introduced herself to the world via her appearance on Home Improvement, was born on the 1st of January, 1982. Much is unknown about her childhood from a personal perspective but she shared some of it with the world, having begun her professional career at 10 years of age.

Perhaps her early retirement from the industry was down to her early introduction to the world of Hollywood but before she retired, she spent her teenage years and early adult in front of the camera, appearing in various movies and TV shows.

Jessica Wesson’s motivations to become an actress is unknown but she began her journey in the industry in 1992, when she was cast in her very first role, which turned out to be one of her most significant roles yet – Jennifer Sudarsky in Home Improvement.

The show, which was created by Matt Williams was Wesson’s global introduction as an actress and she captivated her audience through her performance as Jennifer Sudarsky, the notable girlfriend of Brad, which was played by the actor Zachery Ty Bryan.

Jessica Wesson appeared in multiple episodes over the course of her time on the show between 1992 and 1993, signaling to both the audience and casting directors that new talent was on the horizon. After her time on Home Improvement ended in 1993, her fans got to see her again in an episode of Baywatch in 1994, where she played the character Bridgette in the episode – Western Exposure.

In the same year, Wesson starred in Milk Money, her first feature-length film. Before 1994 was wrapped up, she got a guest role in two episodes of Boy Meets World between 1994 and 1995, during which she played the character, Wendy Jansen and the older version of the character, Old Wendy.

As the mid-90s came, Jessica Wesson began to appear in a series of films such as Casper and Flipper. Shortly before the new millennium, she starred in an episode of Odd Man Out, as Riley in the episode, Batman Forever.

For reasons best known to her, Wesson decided to retire from active acting in 2001 but just before she did, she made two last major appearances in the show, Judging Amy as Katie Albright and in the film, Longshot as Kelly Montgomery.

Jessica Wesson was set for a long and fulfilling career in Hollywood before she decided to give up on the profession. Before she retired from acting, Jessica, other than her list of credits, was able to record some achievements including having her debut show nominated for multiple awards, including a Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe award.

Although she never got a personal award for her work on Home Improvement, she got some recognition like two Young Artist Award nominations. Since she retired, her only role in either a film or show has come via behind-the-scenes roles as a script supervisor for the short films, The Other Way Around and The Weird Ones, both in 2010.
