Jac Collinsworth was born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, the USA around the early 1990s. His mother (Holly Bankemper) who is a lawyer and his father (Cris Collinsworth) a retired professional football player raised Jac alongside his four siblings in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. His parents were very active in society when their children were growing up.
He attended Highland High School, Kentucky, and played football actively during his stay there. Unfortunately for him, he had a terrible back injury which put a stop to his budding professional football career.
Jac Collinsworth took a course ‘Introduction to Filmmaking’ as a freshman and fell in love with broadcasting. He practiced as a cameraman, editor, switchboard operator, and teleprompter operator before he began producing content. With his injury, Jac fell back to his other love and took advantage of his school’s broadcast facilities. He soon began to create videos and fiddled with editing them.
Upon graduation, he gained admission into Notre Dame University, graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Film, Television, and Theatre. The same year he graduated, he started working with ESPN. He joined the network as a features reporter, offering unique stories about players and their profiles. He contributes on NFL Live and co-hosts a College Sports Nation on Sirius XM 84.

He interviews athletes on his weekly podcast which got featured on ‘Showtime’. Jac worked as an assistant sideline producer for NBC broadcasts of Notre Dame Football between 2013-2016. He covered Notre Dame Pro Day for NFL Network in 2016 and 2017. He worked as a sideline reporter for NBC in the Notre Dame Blue-Gold spring football game between 2016-2017.
One of Jac’s major achievements in his career is that he became the first social media correspondent to cover an Olympic; he covered the Summer Games of 2016 for NBC. He also interviewed athletes and featured as a part of Ryan Seacrest Olympic Late Night Team.
