What Happened To Holly On Graveyard Carz, Where Is She Now?

The first season of Mark Worman’s automotive reality series, Graveyard Carz, kicked off on Motortrends in June 2012. But during the second season which premiered in January 2013, Mark realized the need to accompany the activities of the show with research documents that would serve as reference materials in the future. Thus, he hired a research assistant named Holly Chedester to help produce the research backup.

Holly joined the show during the sixth episode of Season 2 which was significantly entitled ‘Holley Equipped’. Given her charm, calm disposition and uniqueness, it wasn’t long before Holly got herself endeared to tens of thousands of viewers of the show. But then, she suddenly disappeared from the show sometime in the next season. So, as everyone would expect, her fans have been asking about the whereabouts of Holly Chedester. If you are one of them, get your answers here.

To adequately account for what became of Holly on Graveyard Carz, we need to know her beyond just the show. So, who was she prior to joining the ‘ghouls’ (as cast members on the show are fondly called)?

Until the charming blonde beauty was introduced in the second season of Graveyard Carz, she was basically unknown to the media and the public. So, apart from the story that she had an inclination for research from her earliest days, there are so many things we are yet to know about her. Therefore, we are still digging for the details of her birth, upbringing, education history, and what have you. We are going to supply these details as soon as we have them. Meanwhile, let’s get busy with what we already know about her.

As per LinkedIn, Holly Chedester is an alumna of the University of Oregon from where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. After her graduation, she worked as a research assistant for the Oregon Social Learning Center (OSLC), a non-profit multidisciplinary effort geared towards helping families and communities in the state to understand themselves and one another better.

Based on the information available to us, Holly worked at OSLC for nearly sixteen years (from November 1998 to September 2014). During this period, she also worked as a functional family therapist for the Oregon Community Program (OCP – formerly a part of OSLC), where she worked with youths between 6 and 18 years of age who had behavioral disorders; that was from 1999 to 2006. During her time at OSLC also, Holly worked for Orcas Healthcare Technology Inc as a research assistant from February 2012 to January 2013. Then, the following month, she made her debut on Graveyard Carz, also as a research assistant.

Where Is Holly Now?

Holly Chedester began to disappear from the sets of Graveyard Carz towards the end of Season 3 in March 2014 as her fans kept complaining about missing her. But she kept giving updates on the show on social media, particularly on her official GYC Facebook page. These updates continued right into Season 4 and began to increasingly focus less on Graveyard Carz and more on other public events especially holidays. The last we heard from her was on November 12, 2015, when she expressed her gratitude to veterans who have fought to defend the country – in honor of the Veterans’ Day. So, like the rest of her fans, we were asking after the whereabouts of Holly Chedester. Here is what we discovered:

About the same time that Season 3 of Graveyard Carz was winding up on April Fool’s Day of 2014, Holly Chedester landed a job as a research assistant at the prestigious Oregon Research Institute (ORI) in Eugene, Oregon. It is obvious that she had left her role on Graveyard Carz in favor of the ORI job. She still works there but, in addition to that, she landed another job as a research assistant at Influents Innovations, a firm that creates and sells evidence-based products and services to companies in the healthcare, social services, and education sectors. She has been working there since May 2017.

Holly Chedester currently juggles her jobs at Oregon Research Institute and Influents Innovations both located in Eugene, Oregon. She works as a research assistant in both positions. She also resides in Eugene.
