It is quite rare to see someone like Erin Siena Jobs, who was born into riches but does not have a flair for seeking the popularity that comes with having enormous wealth and fame. Instead, the daughter of one of America’s revolutionary inventors, Steve Jobs, has chosen to live a simple life, managing all her affairs privately while staying away from all forms of media that connect today’s teens and youths to the entire world.
An architect and designer, Ms. Jobs has further chosen to not follow in the footsteps of her tech-savvy father who was a trailblazer in the mobile computing and technology world. She has instead opted to take her own path, hoping to leave an impact that would revolutionize her chosen field, just like her father did.
Unraveling the Early Life of Erin Siena Jobs
Erin Siena Jobs came into the world on August 19, 1995. As mentioned above, her father is Steve Jobs while her mother is Laurene Powell Jobs. She was born in California just like her father and was brought up there alongside her two siblings; Reed Jobs and Eve Jobs.
According to her academic records, Erin attended Stanford University in California, USA – one of the most prestigious universities in the world. It was there that she got her Architecture and Design degree.
Being a notoriously private person, it is not known what she now does for a living, whether she is a professional architect or she has decided to tow the path of her parents into the business world, or something entirely different.
Is There a Man in Her Life?
Erin Siena Jobs has always been reserved. She has very little to no social media presence and has managed to keep her private life away from the prying eyes of the media. Because of this, her relationship status has managed to remain unknown. Hence one cannot tell if the beautiful lady is still single or currently in a relationship that she doesn’t want the rest of the world to know about.
More so, there is no way one could tell if she has been in any relationship in the past.
Erin is Very Wealthy
In regard to her fortune, it is not known exactly what she has been able to earn by herself so far in her professional life. We cannot also speculate about it since she is media-shy, however, if you factor in her possible inheritance, it is not surprising to find out that Erin Siena Jobs is rich.
Her late father Steve was among the richest men in the world. His company capped a trillion dollars in 2018, becoming the first company to ever make the mark. At the time of his death, he had a net worth that was estimated at a massive $10.9 billion. On the other hand, her mother Laurene Powell Jobs has a net worth that is estimated at $21.6 billion dollars. This earned her a place among the richest women in the world.
Following the death of Steve, his wife inherited a large chunk of his fortune. He has also left a multi-million dollar inheritance to his first child, Lisa Brennan-Jobs. However, it is not known what his other kids including Erin are set to receive. But as one would rightly guess, she is well taken care of.
A Look at the Members of Erin Siena Jobs Family
Father – Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs was the co-founder and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. He was that one individual that revolutionized the way computers worked and changed the face of mobile computing. His innovation saw him launch very popular can’t-do-without gadgets like the iPad, iPod, iPhone, and Macintosh computers.
Before becoming an inventor, Steve enrolled at Reeds College in 1972 but dropped out that same year to pursue other dreams. In 1976, he teamed up with Engineer Steve Wozniak to invent and sell the Apple personal computers that they had developed.
In 2003, Steve Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He went on to face many health challenges thereafter even after undergoing different operations and treatments. Steve later died in his home on October 5, 2011.
Mother – Laurene Powell
Laurene Powell is like her husband in more ways than one. Born in 1963, she met her husband in 1989 when he was giving a lecture at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Less than two years later, the pair got married and their union produced three children, including Erin.
A notable businesswoman, Laurene has founded or co-founded a number of ventures. Some of the companies that are or were once under her portfolio include the natural foods company Terravera, nonprofit organization College Track, and the social change organization Emerson Collective. She further serves on the board of directors of Achieva.
In 2013, two years after she lost her husband, it was reported that Erin’s mother was dating Adrian Fenty, the former Mayor of the District of Columbia. Although there is hardly any news about the two of late, it is believed as of 2019 that the two were still seeing each other and their relationship was going stronger by the day.
As already pointed out, Erin Siena Jobs has two siblings; Reed and Eve. Reed has kept his distance from the spotlight and as such, not so much is known about him. Eve, on the other hand, who is the youngest of the pack is a student at Stanford University and she is expected to be a graduate by 2021. She also seems to be edging closer to become a star in the equestrian world.
Erin also has a half-sister named Lisa Nicole Brennan-Jobs. She is a product of her father’s relationship with Chrisann Brennan many years before he got married. Although Steve initially denied he was her father, it was later proven with a paternity test. Lisa is today a journalist and magazine writer.
The Confusion Surrounding Erin Siena Job’s Grandparents
When mention is made about the parents of Steve Jobs or the grandparents of Erin, the two people that come to mind are Paul Reinhold and Clara Jobs. However, the truth is that they are only the adoptive parents of the Apple co-founder. His biological parents are Abdulfattah John Jandali and Joanne Schieble Simpson.
Abdulfattah is a Syrian immigrant who had a relationship with a German-Swiss Catholic girl named Joanne which resulted in the birth of Steve. Her father was conservative and he would not have his daughter get married to a Muslim, forcing the relationship to come to an end. More so, he did not want anything to do with the child she had, which was why Steve was given up for adoption.
