How Often Do Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Talk, Is There a Chance They Will Reconcile?

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt met back in 2004 on the set of the action-comedy film Mr. & Mrs. Smith and at that time, Pitt was officially married to Jennifer Aniston while Angelina was moving on from her divorce from Billy Bob Thornton. While on set, they started developing feelings for each other and even though a relationship with a married man was the last thing on Jolie’s mind, neither she nor Pitt could resist the temptation. Consequently, they gave in to their feelings and started dating.

Before long, rumors started making the rounds that Pitt and Jolie had an affair while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith and in January 2005, Brad Pitt and his then-wife, Aniston, announced their separation and subsequently ended their marriage of five years after Aniston officially filed for the annulment of their union in March 2005 citing “irreconcilable differences.”

By April of the same year, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had gone public with their relationship and were photographed together in Kenya where they had gone on vacation. While Pitt and Jolie’s fans and critics expected them to tie the knot immediately, the couple focused on building a big family. First, they adopted a six-month-old Ethiopian baby girl named Zahara; this was in July 2005 and Zahara was adopted from an Ethiopian orphanage. In May of the following year, they welcomed their biological daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, who was born in Namibia via cesarian section.

The couple adopted another son, a 3-year-old boy named Pax in 2007 when they traveled to Vietnam and in July 2008, they welcomed a set of twin son and daughter named Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline; they were born in Nice, France. This brought their kids to a total of six, including Maddox whom Angelina Jolie adopted before she began dating Pitt.

After much waiting, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally got engaged in 2012 and eventually got married on August 23, 2014, at their estate Château Miraval in Correns, France. All of their six kids were actively involved in the ceremony and while Maddox and Pax walked their mom down the aisle, Zahara and Vivienne served as flower girls and Shiloh and Knox were the ring bearers.

Subsequently, the actress changed her surname to Jolie Pitt. Sadly, getting married turned out to be a bad decision for the pair as their relationship went sour after two years of tying the knot. They separated in September 2016 and in the same month, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. She also requested to be given physical custody of all their children. However, they reached a new custody agreement on November 11, 2018, after a fierce custody battle. On April 12, 2019, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt officially went back to being effectively single.

According to a report on Entertainment Tonight, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have moved forward from their bitter divorce and things are very much better between them now. A source who made this revelation to the publication said the couple’s relationship is currently the best it has ever been since they parted ways.

Moving forward was initially difficult because there was a lot of bad blood between them, the source explained. However, things are very much better now particularly with regards to co-parenting their children. Even though they do not agree on everything, they hardly engage in arguments now as they have managed to grow to a point where they can discuss plans concerning their children calmly, added the source.

Is There a Chance They Will Reconcile?

Fans of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still hoping that the duo would eventually make peace and come back together but as it stands now, it appears there is no chance of that happening in the nearest future. Before Jolie and Pitt eventually concluded their divorce process, there were reports that they were making efforts to work out their differences.

The report which emerged from Radar Online was on a number of publications and claimed that the couple had planned a secret getaway at a location outside Los Angeles where they would have undisturbed privacy and a long weekend to try sorting out their issues. Sadly, the information turned out to be false after Gossip Cop confirmed with sources in both of the actor’s camps that the report was nothing short of a cheap fabrication.
