What Is Dillon Danis Age And Height, Is He A Good Fighter?

If you are a gentleman with no drive for violence in any form, a career in mixed martial arts might not be for you. For those who do, and have dedicated themselves to acquiring the skills necessary to become experts in the field, it is a path to glory. One of those in the latter category is Dillon Danis, who at a very young age, is already considered a prodigy of MMA icon, Conor McGregor.

Dillon has been a fighter since he was a teenager and with a long career ahead of him, it is worth learning everything there is to know about this potential MMA star.

What is Dillon Danis’ Age?

Dillon Danis was born on the 22nd of August, 1993, somewhere in New Jersey to mother, Nikki Danis. While we know that he has two siblings, Carol and Brandon, the identity of his father remains unknown.

For his formal education, he attended Parsippany Hills High School and at the age of 15, when Dillon Danis was still in high school, he got into a street fight that led him to Jiu-Jitsu.

During the fight, which occurred at his school, Dillon was able to pull off a choke, and even though he was not trained in the art of grappling, he deployed the skill during the fight.

After the fight, he decided to deepen the strength of his natural ability and enrolled in a Jiu-Jitsu academy, Jaime Cruz’s academy in New Jersey. At the academy, Dillon was physically inferior to his classmates as they were not only bigger but older. But, he persisted and joined the wrestling team in his school to aid his training.

At Jaime Cruz’s academy, Dillon Danis went through the Jiu-Jitsu belt systems, working his way up to a brown belt. While he trained at Jaime Cruz’s academy in New Jersey, he also drove up to New York to train at Marcelo Garcia’s academy.

At the age of 19, Dillon Danis, after the completion of high school, decided to become a professional Jiu-Jitsu athlete and he moved to New York full-time, training at Marcelo’s academy. During this time, he competed in various competitions and earned his black belt at the age of 22.

About a year afterward, his hopes of becoming a professional MMA fighter came to reality when he was offered the opportunity of serving as the coach and main grappling partner of Conor McGregor in preparation for his fight against his rival, Nate Diaz.

With Dillon Danis’ help, Conor McGregor won the fight, achieving victory via decision in the fifth round. The victory sparked a rise in Danis’ reputation and along with it, his voice as a prominent personality in the UFC.

At the age of 25, after a couple of years as a professional grappling partner, Dillon Danis became an official MMA fighter after signing to Bellator MMA, a mixed martial arts promotion company and rival of UFC.

Dillon Danis, at the age of 25, became a professional fighter, debuting in a match against Kyle Walker on the 28th of April, 2018.
