He was born Daniel Marshall Wheeler but we have come to know him and fall in love with him as Dash Wilder. He was born on the 17th of May, 1978 in Asheville, North Carolina.

As far as his background goes, there is plenty we are yet to learn of Dash Wilder but he kicked off his wrestling career in 2005, at the age of 18 when he began to compete in independent wrestling circuits, starting out with the name, Steven Walters.

During his early days as a wrestler, Dash Wilder wrestled for promotion companies like NWA Anarchy, OMEGA Championship Wrestling, Dragon Gate USA, All-Star Wrestling and a few more others. While competing in the independent circuit, Dash Wilder was a budding star who boasted of victories such as the NWA Anarchy Television Championship and Tag Team Championship.

WWE Career

He performed in independent circuits for nine years before he joined the big leagues, signing on with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2014. At WWE, he became Dash Wilder and began a tag team relationship with fellow wrestler, Scott Dawson, and they are now known as The Revival but started out as The Mechanics.

For WWE, Dash Wilder performed under the NXT brand, going on to win NXT Tag Team Championships multiple times. Dash Wilder then joined one of WWE’s popular brands, Raw in April 2016, performing alongside Scott Dawson in a tag team match against The New Day.

Over the course of his time in the WWE, Dash Wilder has suffered a couple of injuries, including a fractured jaw but he has kept his place on the active roster of the biggest wrestling brand in the world through hard work and his popularity. He has gone to make appearances in Survivor Series, SummerSlam, WrestleMania and has fought high profile matches against Roman Reigns, Curt Hawkins, and Zack Ryder.

Wilder has spent his career in WWE as part of The Revival and has recorded achievements like winning the Raw Tag Team Championship two times, the NXT Year-End Award two times for Match of the Year and Tag Team of the Year and he has been ranked in the top 500 singles wrestlers by Pro Wrestling Illustrated.

According to an analysis of the WWE salary scale, the average wrestler in the promotion company earns between $500 thousand to $1 million per year. We cannot determine the exact salary of Dash Wilder although some reports put him at the lower end of the scale at $500 thousand.
