This was a truth that Chet Hanks, the son of the beloved actor Tom Hanks, got to learn when he committed the big blunder of using the abhorred N-word during an Instagram video. The arrival of his daughter Michaiah has been good news so far for Chet Hanks who credits her with helping him get sober. According to him, the prospect of becoming a father gave him the strength to drop his vices and make a complete turnaround. Hanks is obviously a good father to his baby girl as he often shares photos of the cutie on Instagram. On one particular post, he wrote: “The best part of my year. The person who saved my life.”
Chet also commends his own parents Tom and Rita for being fantastic grandparents to his daughter. He disclosed this during his interview with Entertainment Tonight where he compared his personal experience to that of his daughter’s. Chet stated that he enjoyed his own grandparents and it feels so good to see his daughter having a taste of the same.
