The Canadian-born, Paris-based Charlotte Le Bon’s birthdate is September 4, 1986. She was raised in her hometown of Montreal by her actor parents Brigitte Paquette and Richard Le Bon. Details about Le Bon’s educational background have not been disclosed.

Interestingly, the actress started out as a model, as she initially wasn’t keen on following her parent’s footsteps. Le Bon kicked off her modeling career at age 16 and eventually left home at 19 to travel the world as a model. She worked as a model for eight years before landing in Paris in 2011. Thankfully, the French city chose and favored her as it launched her acting career.

Le Bon began her showbiz career as a model and dedicated eight years of her life to the art. It was while performing burlesque gag-laden weather forecasts in front of celebrity guests that the former model got more acting offers.

She has since followed up with other minor roles in movies such as Impossible (2010), The Stroller Strategy, and the comedy Asterix and Obelix: God Save Britannia, both in 2012. The next year, Charlotte also featured in The Big Bad Wolf, Mood Indigo, and The Marchers. The movie which featured A-list stars was Le Bon’s first English-language film and it officially marked the beginning of her journey to movie stardom.

Le Bon followed up with other starring roles in movies such as the 2015 Philippe Petit biopic, The Walk, where she appeared as Annie Allix the famed French tightrope maestro’s girlfriend. Thereafter, she landed another role as Ana in the 2016 epic, The Promise. Repped by United Talent Agency and Agence Adequate, Charlotte’s other film credits in 2016 include In The Shadow Of Iris, Bastille Day, Arctic Heart, and Anthropoid. More recently, Le Bon was cast in Berlin, I Love You (2019) and the sci-fi anthology Warning. Meanwhile, Charlotte stepped behind the camera in 2018 and made her directorial debut with the short film Judith Hotel.

Le Bon may not have clinched any major awards yet but she may soon get there. Charlotte’s outstanding performance as Victoire Doutreleau, the fashion designer’s muse in 2014’s Yves Saint Laurent earned her a Cesar Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
