The reasons for which people become famous could be as many as there are famous people. As Shakespeare would put it, some are born great, some achieve greatness, while others have greatness thrust upon them. In this post, you will discover that Beatrice Bouchard is famous, not for her own direct achievements, but as a result of having a superstar sister (Eugenie Bouchard). Yet, she deserves accolades too for building her own niche on that basis.
Who Is Beatrice Bouchard?
Beatrice is the older twin sister to the Canadian-American lawn tennis pro Eugenie Bouchard. The sisters were born on February 25, 1994, in Westmount, an exclusive suburban extension of Montreal City in Southwestern Quebec, Canada. Beatrice was born six minutes earlier than Eugenie which makes her older. However, it may interest you to know that they are fraternal twins.
In terms of career, Beatrice Bouchard works as a glamor model which is her next claim to fame. She uses her different social media accounts to showcase herself as a model, posing in various swim-wears, lingerie, or bikini. From time to time, she makes references to mainly offshore brands like Princess Paully Boutique, Singapore Airlines, and Migjorn Suites and Spar in Ibiza, Spain. Apparently, she gets paid for making those brand endorsements. Apart from this though, we cannot put tabs on any outstanding modeling deal that has Beatrice Bouchard’s name on it.
Also, because Beatrice uses social media as her major modeling outlet, she can also be said to be a rising social media influencer. She has over 366,000 followers on Instagram, 23,500 on Twitter, and just over 20,000 followers on her Facebook page. Her YouTube channel, however, has only 4 subscribers currently. In all, she keeps getting more and more famous on social media.
Is Beatrice Bouchard Dating Anyone Now?
Beatrice Bouchard set the rumor mill abuzz in August 2019 when she posted a photo of herself in a romantic pose with the Australian tennis player Nicholas Hilmy Kyrgios (better known as Nick Kyrgios). She captioned the photo – “In good company K1ngKyrg1os” which made many to conclude that Beatrice is dating Nick.
Nevertheless, this rumor has not been confirmed by any of the two at the time of posting this. But we know that Nick and Beatrice’s younger twin sister Eugenie have been friendly to each other before now. In August 2015, it was reported that Eugenie and Nick were seeking a wild-card entry to play mixed doubles together at the US Open that year. But it does not appear that the plan sailed through eventually.
For your information, Nick Kyrgios was ranked 13th globally in men’s lawn tennis singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in 2016. This is his highest ranking ever. He is currently ranked 27th in lawn tennis singles globally by ATP.
Facts About Her Family
As already mentioned, Beatrice Bouchard owes much of the fame she enjoys today to her younger twin sister Eugenie who started her journey as a tennis player at the age of five. The world-class tennis star had a date with history and made her family and country proud in 2014 when she became the first Canadian-born tennis player representing the country to ever get to the final of a Grand Slam in singles. It was at the Wimbledon Championship for that year. Unfortunately, though, she ended up placing second behind the Czech left-handed tennis star Petra Kvitova. Since that time, Eugenie and everything about her (including her family and siblings) came into the limelight.
Beatrice and her sister Eugenie have a younger sister named Charlotte and a younger brother named William. The twins, along with their younger siblings, are named after personalities in the British Royal Family. Apparently, the twins are named after Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York, daughters of Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. Charlotte is named after Charlotte Casiraghi, the daughter of Caroline, the Princess of Hanover. As for William, he is named after the Duke of Cambridge who is the eldest son of the Prince of Wales, Charles, with his late wife, Princess Diana. The Bouchards obviously have a special regard for the British royals.
