Ambyr Childers was born on the 18th of July, 1988, in Cottonwood, Arizona, to parents whose identities are yet unknown. Although she was born in Cottonwood, Ambyr grew up in Murrieta, Riverside in California where she was raised along with two other siblings.
Perhaps it was the result of living in the state of California that also housed Los Angeles, home of entertainment in America, but Ambyr Childers, at some point in her younger days, made the decision to pursue acting as a career. Consequently, she set out for Los Angeles where she got cast in her very first role as an extra in the TV show, S Club 7 in L.A.
After her first work on the show, Ambyr Childers did not appear in another project until 2003 when she was cast as Barbie in the film, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. In the same year, she appeared in Carolina, where she played the younger version of the titular character.
Her first major break came in 2006 when she was cast to play Colby Chandler in All My Children, a daytime soap opera. She played the role for two years between 2006 and 2008, before returning to regular primetime TV and other appearances in films.
In 2011, after All My Children, Ambyr Childers appeared in the films, All Things Far Apart, Love and House of the Rising Sun.
